Australian dance duo NERVO unveiled their remix of Jairic’sDon’t Let Me Put A Track On You’, released this past weekend via Rich Air Music. Composed of twin sisters Liv and Mim Nervo, the pair first gained international recognition co-writing David Guetta and Kelly Rowland’s ‘When Love Takes Over’, a Grammy-winning single that remains a landmark in dance-pop. Their songwriting and production credits include Kylie Minogue, Ke$ha, Afrojack, Armin van Buuren, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Avicii. NERVO have headlined major festivals such as Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, EDC, Lollapalooza, Creamfields and Ushuaïa Ibiza, maintained a consistent presence in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs, and saw their debut album Collateral reach number one on the iTunes Dance chart. Their catalogue has over 238 million Spotify streams and 1.2 million monthly listeners.

The single foregrounds Jairic’s incisive lyricism and bold approach to genre, opening with a moody, textured introduction that builds into a soaring vocal passage before culminating in a striking, hip-hop-driven finale. NERVO’s remix follows closely on the heels of a recent reinterpretation by French electronic duo KRONO. NERVO’s remix channels an energetic techno pulse, pairing Jairic’s dynamic vocal delivery with driving percussion and luminous, atmospheric pads that ebb and flow throughout the track. The evolving arrangement sustains momentum, offering a compelling listen for fans of Nicky Romero, R3hab, and Thomas Gold.

NERVO said: “Really caught a vibe with this original and wanted to raise the tempo to suit what we are playing in our sets. It has been working great and we hope you all love it as much as we do!”
