Belablu is an electronic artist, vocalist, and producer who just released her debut single ‘Disconnected’ from the EP Breathe. Her live sets blend dreamy synths, textured vocals, and deep bass, helping her stand out in the new wave of live electronic music, from experimental bass to melodic house. Influenced by artists like ODESZA, CloZee, Ben Böhmer, LSDream, and RÜFÜS DU SOL, she draws on her background in songwriting, live performance, and cross-genre projects as she takes a more intentional, self-guided approach. As a yoga instructor and meditation coach, she weaves spirituality into her music with healing frequencies and chakra-inspired intentions, making the sound resonate both physically and emotionally.
‘Disconnected’ goes straight to the heart of the EP. The track explores the tension between strong attachment and real connection, showing the challenges of vulnerability and the process of finding yourself again. Its atmospheric production and honest vocals reflect the struggle of opening up and beginning to heal, setting the tone for the rest of the release. Each song on Breathe connects to a different energy center in the body, pairing emotional and physical states through sound healing, ambient textures, and dance rhythms. The project sees meditation as something active and physical, blending bass music and melodic house where ritual meets rave. It offers space for release, reflection, and genuine connection. In her live shows, Belablu brings this idea to life with responsive vocals, analog synths, and evolving soundscapes, inviting the audience to experience the music through movement, stillness, or whatever feels right.
Belablu explained: “Disconnected is about the experience of giving everything to a relationship while slowly losing touch with yourself – you feel simultaneously so attached to someone, but you also feel like you don’t know them at all… and you get so wrapped up in this contradiction that you forget yourself. This song is the emotional peak of my EP, right in the middle of the journey.”
