Detroit based musician Shigeto has remixed  IDM artist Vincenzo Ramaglia‘s single ‘La parole 6’. The remix received an official premiere via Self-titled and the official release date is set for the 21st of August. Music producer Shigeto currently sits with just under 30 million plays across major streaming platforms. He has also received praise from a number of renowned publications like Pitchfork, Resident Advisor, Mixmag, Dancing Astronaut, and Exclaim! 

Shigeto comments on the production of the remix: “La parole 6 was a pleasure to rework. I have always enjoyed remixing any music with an ambient approach that incorporates some sort of live instrumentation. It gives me a lot of freedom to take it anywhere.” 

The original track by Vincenzo features vocalist  Laure Le Prunenec (lead singer of French band Igorrr. Ramaglia has seen a wide range of support from publications like PopMatters CLASH Magazine, RCRD LBL, Son Of Marketing, Vents Magazine, and XS Noize. He has also made a big impression on the Italian media scene, with features in local publications (Ondarock, Rockerilla, Blow Up, Sentireascoltare, and Rumore.)

The Shigeto remix uses the dark notes of the original masterpiece but provides a more balanced sound that compliments both artist’s versatility with their sound.
